Iga ÅwiÄ tek won her second French Open title on Saturday after defeating Coco Gauff in straight-sets. The world number one was shocked when she bumped into footballer Robert Lewandowski in the stands after the match. The Polish tennis star spotted the Bayern Munich forward in the crowd and her reaction was priceless.ÅwiÄ tek was left visibly stunned as Lewandowski, who represents the Poland international team, congratulated her on her second Grand Slam title.The WTA posted a photo of the moment Polish icons ÅwiÄ tek and Lewandowski shared a hug to celebrate the occasion, alongside the caption "*gasps in Polish*" while the official Roland-Garros account wrote: "Two legends."
"I am happy that he is here honestly," the tennis world number one said during a press conference. "I do not know if he is a huge tennis fan or not. But I mean, Wow! He has been a top athlete in our country for so many years that it still feels like, it is hard to believe that he came to watch me. Just overawed."
Record-equalling run for ÅwiÄ tek
ÅwiÄ tek extended her unbelievable winning streak with her second French Open title in three years. Her Grand Slam triumph marked her sixth consecutive title win and 35th match unbeaten.
Prior to her stunning display at Roland-Garros, the 21-year-old won the Qatar Open, Indian Wells, Miami Open, Stuttgart Open, and Italian Open. ÅwiÄ tek has not lost a match since February.
Her 35th winning match equals Venus Williams' record for the longest womenâs winning streak of this millennium.

ÅwiÄ tek dropped just one set during the 2022 French Open. Qinwen Zheng of China put the world number one on the back-foot after claiming the first set of the fourth round 7-6, but the Pole's blistering form couldn't be deterred for long.
ÅwiÄ tek bounced back after claiming the second two sets 6-0, 6-2 and progressed into the quarter-final, where she breezed past Jessica Pegula 6-3, 6-2.
She then thrashed Daria Kasatkina in the semis and dropped just three games in yet another dominant display.
After her victory over Gauff in the final, ÅwiÄ tek is just one win away from setting a new record for the longest running womenâs winning streak since 2000.
