Aston Villa trio Douglas Luiz, Morgan Sanson and Danny Ings could all be in trouble this summer, fears journalist Josh Holland.

The Villans have started their recruitment early, recently bringing in Diego Carlos and Boubacar Kamara, but Holland is also expecting outgoings in the transfer window.

What is the latest transfer news involving Luiz, Sanson and Ings?

Luiz, Sanson and Ings, who are valued at £63.9m combined by Transfermarkt, have all been linked with moves away from Villa Park.

Reports from Italy suggest that AS Roma want to sign Luiz, while Sanson is one player who Villa are thought to be open to offers for.

What has Holland said about Luiz, Sanson and Ings?

Holland thinks Luiz, Sanson and Ings could all be in trouble at Villa Park and has told GIVEMESPORT that he can see them leaving the club in the transfer window.

Speaking to GMS, the journalist said: "I think they could be in trouble. Douglas Luiz, Sanson and Ings, they are my three that I think we could see moving away from Villa Park."

Who is the likeliest to leave out of Luiz, Sanson and Ings?

Definitely Sanson. He just has not had a good time at Villa, though a large part of that is down to injury.

He was unavailable for a large chunk of the campaign that has just gone, while he also missed a lot of action last April and May.

In total, since joining the Villans from Marseille last year, Sanson has made just 20 appearances for the club.

Even if he manages to stay fit, his game time is unlikely to significantly increase following the arrival of his former Marseille team-mate Kamara. And to make things worse, Steven Gerrard does not even look to be done there amid links to Brighton's Yves Bissouma and Leeds United's Kalvin Phillips.

Ultimately, the arrival of another midfielder would all but end Sanson's spell with the Premier League outfit.

Given the interest in Luiz and Ings, they could both easily leave as well, with the former only having a year left on his contract. But out of the three, you would probably have to say that Sanson is the furthest away from Gerrard's plans.
