Those that have played and understand the game of pool will realise how difficult this shot is, and in turn, why it is so impressive.A video on TikTok by @luke23collins shows the video of a shot on the black ball with the caption of “Physics? Yeah completed it mate.” This just shows that even the winner of the match was impressed by his own skills. Both players were on the final black ball to win the match with one player stepping up to take a shot. With it near impossible for him to finish the match, he decides to tuck the white ball behind the black to make it harder for his opponent. What happened next was the unthinkable and the previous player obviously was expecting another shot at it after his friend’s go.His friend confidently hurried over to the table to take his shot. He aims across the ball as he hits down on it to send it in the pocket behind the ball and he surprisingly perfected it.As expected, his friends couldn’t believe what they had just witnessed. Many commenters were in awe of the shot, but some were sceptical. Those that were unsure believe that the cue hits the ball and that is the reason the black ball finds itself in the pocket.

One comment says: “I’ve slowed it down and watched several times. It hits his cue and he basically dragged it into the corner.”

This would mean that a foul had been committed and that he would have lost the game. However, one commenter explained it differently.

The comment reads: “He puts spin on the right side of the black anti-clockwise which causes the Magnus effect to carry it to the pocket. Very hard shot, fair play.”

In response to the praise, the video creator replied: “FINALLY SOMEBODY UNDERSTANDS!!”

For those that are unaware, the Magnus effect is the generation of a sidewise force, which then allows the ball to move in the direction that it did.

The TikTok has amassed 1.9 million views and has been praised as one of the most difficult – and most impressive -  shots of all time.
