Arsenal suffered yet another top-four sorrow in 2021-22, as they failed to qualify for the Champions League, but great progress is being made by an exciting young squad that continues to work under Mikel Arteta's watchful eye.

The Gunners will compete in the Europa League in 2022-23, with a more demanding schedule suggesting that money will be spent on strengthening the depth of the first-team squad.

Pre-season games will offer any newcomers a chance to settle in and Arteta a chance to tinker with tactical plans, with GOAL on hand to bring you everything you need to know about Arsenal's pre-season preparations.

In the months leading up to the 2022/23 season, Arsenal will embark on a pre-season tour. Last season, the Gunners were supposed to go overseas for their pre-season preparations, but Covid-19 derailed those plans. Instead, they faced up against London rivals Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur in high-profile contests.

Here's what we know so far regarding their pre-season preparations for 2022/23.
