England snatched a valuable point against Germany at the Allianz Arena thanks to a late Harry Kane penalty.

The draw in Bavaria saw England finally get off the mark in their UEFA Nations League campaign, following an opening-game defeat to Hungary.

A Jonas Hofmann strike saw Germany edge ahead in the early exchanges of the second stanza only for Kane to slot a controversial penalty home from the spot to ensure England didn't begin with consecutive defeats.

However, Gareth Southgate's side still lie rock-bottom of the group and will need to get their act together if they are to progress ahead of Italy, Hungary and, of course, Germany.

All told, it wasn't the most exciting game we have ever seen between two of football's oldest rivals but, considering the clash looked to be slipping away from them, England will be happy to escape with a draw.

In fact, some might argue that the most note-worthy moment came during the warm-up as England's bench players went about their business ahead of kick-off.

With the like of Reece James, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Coady all gathered nearby, Roma's Tammy Abraham decided to attempt a spot of showboating.

Unfortunately, from his point of view, he got it horribly wrong and could only send himself sprawling to the ground having trod on the ball.

Thankfully, a nearby fan was on hand to capture the moment with the footage now going viral in various places online.

You can check it out in the clips below:

Oh Tammy, what you would give to have that moment back.

It got worse for the former Chelsea man as well as, instead of rushing to his aid, his teammates simply broke down in fits of laughter.

Abraham, who was an unused substitute on the night, will be hoping the moment is quickly forgotten.

Sadly for him, the internet, and his teammates, have very long memories.
