An incredible promo from Eddie Guerrero continues to resurface for its status as going down as one of the best in history. It showed both passion and realism - two attributes that the WWE world is ridiculed for their lack of. Eddie had it in abundance here.On the go-home episode of SmackDown, two legends of the game Eddie Guerrero and Brock Lesnar hopped in the ring to hash it out before facing one another at No Way Out.Ten-time world champion Lesnar took the unsportsmanlike approach and mentioned Guerrero’s issues with addiction, to which Eddie responded perfectly to.Guerrero could have stood there and got angry and upset about what had been said. Instead, he owned up to it and admitted that he had lost everything due to substances and his road to recovery. He resonated with the fans in person and those watching from home which enticed the crowd for their ongoing support. In his promo, he alludes to the fact that he gets addicted to the crowd’s reactions.“That’s my new addiction homes. See when I step into this ring I am addicted. I’m addicted to the high that I get from them.”

Contrary to his previous addictions, Guerrero references to having a new addiction which is being a good man to his family and providing them with better lives.

"I get it when I go home and tell my family ‘Hey I’m doing it!’. I’m addicted to the satisfaction that I get to tell everybody like you who didn’t believe in me ‘you can stick it up your a**!’ I’m addicted to the do or die feeling homes that I’m going to have this Sunday at No Way Out.”

It was an emotional moment and the promo infamously known as ‘Eddie’s Addictions’ will be one that all fans will never forget. Even better, he defeated Lesnar at No Way Out to become the WWE champion.

We miss you, Eddie, thanks for the memories!
