Sadio Mane to Bayern: German club's offer mocked by Spartak Moscow in viral tweet

Bayern Munich have been savaged by Spartak Moscow for their 'laughable' Sadio Mane offer

It’s no secret that Sadio Mane is a target of Bayern Munich this summer.

The Senegalese international wants to leave Liverpool this summer and the German giants are the favourites to secure his signature.

Bayern have so far made two offers for Mane, both of which have been well below his valuation.

The second of which was just laughable.

Bayern offered £23.5m, plus a further £6.5m in add-ons.

The add-ons, though, were just ridiculous. Per the Mirror, the add-ons would only be paid if Mane claimed the Ballon d’Or on three occasions – he has none at the age of 30.

It would also only be paid if Bayern win a hat trick of Bundesliga titles, along with European trophies.

Paul Joyce of the Times stated the offer was deemed ‘laughable’ by Liverpool officials, who ‘swiftly rejected’ it.

Spartak Moscow saw the ridiculous offer and they decided to troll Bayern on Twitter.

The club drew up a joke letter which showed an offer Bayern made for their star player, Alexander Sobelov. View it below…

The offer is €1,000, plus a further €45m in add-ons.

€10m would be paid if Bayern win Eurovision, which is impossible.

They took a pop at Man United, saying €15m will be paid if they win a trophy. Given their performance in 2021/22, it might take a few years.

While €20m will be paid if Lionel Messi joins Real Madrid. That’s not impossible but the chances of that happening, given he is a Barcelona legend, are practically non-existent.

The tweet has gone viral, having picked up over 30k retweets and 221k ‘likes’ at the time of writing.

Liverpool have reportedly set an asking price of £42.5m on Mane.

Bayern will have to improve their offer drastically if they want to sign the Senegalese star.

Produce another laughable offer, though, and they’ll be getting trolled by the likes of Spartak once more.
