The 20 players with the most goals and assists in international football since 2000

Ronaldo sits top of the pile with a quite ridiculous 158 goal contributions for Portugal in the 21st century.

He is currently 23 clear of Messi in second. Neymar, meanwhile, is currently 32 back in third.

Neymar is seven years younger than Ronaldo and could catch the Man Utd legend should he continue to dazzle for his country.

Lewandowski (102) and Klose (101) are the only other two players to reach 100 goal contributions for their country since 2000.

Suarez, now 35, needs just four more goal contributions to reach 100 for Uruguay.

Salah creeps into the top 20 having scored 47 goals and recorded 24 assists for Egypt.
