OnlyFans star Astrid Wett has pulled out of her boxing match against Elle Brooke because of concerns for her safety.
The two were scheduled to go toe-to-toe as the chief support to Simple Simon vs Ed Matthews at the Indigo in London’s O2 Arena on July 16, but the fight will no longer take place after Wett’s withdrawal.
Having spent the past few months training at the Origin gym in Rainham under coach Mark Tibbs, Brooke is looking for a new opponent as she aims to stay on the card.
Wett, however, will not be fighting at the Kingpyn Boxing event next month at all.
And the Chelsea fan, who has over 230,000 followers on Instagram, revealed how ‘things have changed’ behind the scenes since she signed the contract to fight Brooke.
She told her YouTube channel: “I am withdrawing from the event on July 16 against Elle Brooke.
“I know some of you are going to be really disappointed and wanting answers but let me explain why I just can’t continue on this card.
“I wanted to prove to everybody that a porn star can do something different.
“With the boxing, I wanted it to be well respected, and change the opinion on girls that are in the same line of work.
“I personally feel that the Kingpyn event is not the event for this.
“Things have changed from what we first thought when we signed six to seven weeks ago.”
Tempers flared at a pre-fight press conference last week as the pair were reunited in the English capital.
Brooke, 24, had a coffin carried onstage which had a blow-up doll inside, wearing a football shirt and with a printout of Wett’s face on it.
But Wett feels she went too far as she believes she was bang out of order.
She added: “Talking about the press conference on Wednesday, I was on edge the whole time.
“Elle was allowed to bring a coffin onto the stage during the press conference, the day after somebody tragically lost their life in the boxing ring.
“I understand this funny beef back and forth, I can take that, but that is just something you don’t joke about.
“So to bring a coffin onto the stage is disgusting.
“Where is the respect? Even after the event I alerted them and Elle’s team of the situation and nobody apologised.
“In fact, they condoned it, as Elle reposted the video on her story talking about how funny she is.
“I was so embarrassed to sit there and be a part of it all, and the event knew it was happening, it was planned.”
Wett also accused Brooke of assaulting her twice during the press conference.
She claimed: “I was assaulted at the faceoff and then again after.
“Elle grabbed my face and then kicked me pretty hard in the stomach, which is fine, I can take that.
“But I was the one who was picked up and dragged off the stage.
“She stayed on with a mic and continued to slander me during Ed and Simon’s faceoff to which at that point I couldn’t defend myself because I’d already been dragged off the stage.
“Then when she walked off there was already another little brawl and she pretty much dragged me back onto the stage by my hair.
“I went back into my dressing room and nobody from Kingpyn came to check on me.
“In fact, someone popped their head around the corner to ask if I was ready for another interview.
“The way she acted during the press conference is a real concern for my safety for the actual fight.
“What’s to stop her from headbutting me or kicking me or going for the back of the head for example?
“She’s already stated multiple times that she wants to kill me.
“Now there are no headguards so this is no joke.”
