Chelsea could listen to offers for Christian Pulisic if they sign Ousmane Dembele this summer, according to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook.

The Blues are thought to be keen on bringing the Barcelona winger to Stamford Bridge, and Crook thinks that could push his former Borussia Dortmund team-mate out of west London.

What is the latest news involving Dembele?

Dembele looks set to leave the Camp Nou, with the Frenchman yet to extend his current deal, which expires at the end of the month.

"Dembele? We made our bid - he has a proposal on the table but he has not accepted it. No answer yet," Barcelona president Joan Laporta recently said (via The Sun).

Chelsea seem to be the team most interested in signing the 25-year-old, and 90min claimed last month that they were confident of luring him to Stamford Bridge.

Dembele has picked up a lot of injuries during his time at Barcelona, but he managed to stay fit in the second part of the 2021/22 season and have a productive campaign after registering 13 assists in La Liga.

What has Crook said about Dembele and Pulisic?

Should Chelsea go on to land Dembele, Crook reckons that could see the former European champions decide to sell Pulisic this summer.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the talkSPORT reporter said: "Pulisic's dad put out that tweet that he hastily deleted, saying that he had a sort of big decision to make. So yeah, I think if Dembele came in, although obviously he played alongside him at Dortmund, I think they would be open to offers for Pulisic."

Should Chelsea sell Pulisic?

Having bought Pulisic for £58m, perhaps some Chelsea fans feel they do not always get enough from the American.

Like Dembele, he has also had his fair share of injury problems, while manager Thomas Tuchel has been critical of his finishing.

However, since joining the Blues, he has come up with some really big goals for his side, scoring against the likes of Manchester City, Liverpool and Real Madrid.

He is also a really good dribbler, something Tuchel has highlighted in the past when talking about the USA international.

"It’s important for him to show his full potential. He can be a huge player and have big performances for us. With his dribbling, runs into the boxes, he has stepped up and I am very happy about this in the last weeks and games," the German said last August (via FootballTransfers).

All in all, Pulisic has shown his worth, so whether Dembele arrives or not, the 23-year-old should not be the first attacker Chelsea get rid of this summer.
