Forza Motorsport: Release Date, Trailer and more

Forza 8

In the coming months, racing gamers can look forward to a new Forza Motorsport.

Next up in the iconic racing game series from Turn 10 is Forza Motorsport 8, and there are so many things to look forward to – well if you’re a car fanatic anyway.

The last Forza Motorsport release was Forza Motorsport 7 in 2017, so this is the longest the gaming scene has gone without a new entry.

Now, it seems as though Forza Motorsport will steal the crown of simulation racing king with intense customization options, a new damage model, and more.

How soon can you play this game, though? How does it differ from others? Here’s everything we know so far about Forza Motorsport.

Forza Motorsport Trailer

Here it is and it looks amazing! The trailer finally revealed gameplay and some of the vehicles coming to the latest edition of Forza Motorsport.

Each race will be unique as you can simulate variations in temperature and time of day.

Check out the trailer below.

Gameplay

Forza Motorsport

The trailer revealed that the racing sim will give gamers more control and customization than ever before, as well as damage models that simulate individual scratches, ray-tracing for the most realistic car models ever, and so much more.

Ray tracing will add realism and immersion to the game and be a major selling point. One of the gameplay reveals featured Maple Valley, a familiar track to fans of the Forza series. Tire and fuel management are also new to Forza Motorsport, a first for the Motorsport series.

This will add another layer of complexity to the gameplay, allowing you to control more than just your race placement.

Gameplay Demo

An impressive gameplay demo followed the trailer, which showed off a fictional circuit known as Maple Valley.
Below you can read more on the gameplay demo which demonstrates how ray-tracing and dynamic time work together.

Will Forza Motorsport be on PC/Xbox Game Pass?

Forza Motorsports 8

There does not appear to be any information available on whether or not Forza Motorsport will be available on PC Game Pass, but based on previous Forza titles, I would expect that it will not be on PC Game Pass, at least not on day one.

Xbox will have to confirm this further, so keep your eyes peeled right here at GiveMeSport.

What platforms will Forza Motorsport be on?

The game will be available to play on Xbox Series X/S and PC, however, it is unlikely that it will ever be available on PlayStation or Nintendo consoles. This is because Forza is published by Microsoft, which competes with Nintendo and PlayStation.
