The £63,000 per-week star has been strongly linked with a move to Barcelona in recent months and has reportedly made his feelings public about moving to the Nou Camp.
What’s the latest news involving Raphinha?
According to reports in Spain, the Leeds winger has already told those around him that he wants to join Barcelona.
However, Raphinha’s proposed move to Barca isn’t a full gone conclusion despite the intensity of their interest, with Arsenal recently entering the race for the Brazil international’s services.
Per the Telegraph, Mikel Arteta’s side are considering making a move for the 25-year-old, whose 11 top-flight goals helped Leeds avoid relegation, one of which a crucial penalty at Brentford on the final day.
The report stages that Barcelona is his ‘most likely destination’, although their financial problems could open the door for the Gunners, who are trying to strengthen their squad after missing out on finishing fourth.
The north Londoners are yet to make a formal offer for the Leeds ace, but Crook expects Raphinha to leave Elland Road in some capacity this summer.
What did Crook say about Raphinha?
When asked about potential incomings at Leeds, he told GIVESPORT: “I think they need someone because Bamford had a wretched year with injuries, I’m still not convinced by Rodrigo, and I think Raphinha will go. One of the reasons Barcelona are willing to cash in on De Jong is to try and raise funds to get him.”

Who could Leeds sign as a replacement?
Leeds have already enjoyed a busy start to the summer window, bringing in Brenden Aaronson and Rasmus Kristensen from Jesse Marsch’s former club, RB Salzburg.
And even though the former is an attacking player, he’s spent the majority of his short career playing in a more central role, meaning he’s unlikely to be a direct replacement for Raphinha.
But Leeds have been linked with wingers and remain interested in Club Brugge man Noa Lang, who they’ve wanted in the past.
The 22-year-old, valued at £19.8m by Transfermarkt, enjoyed an exceptional campaign in Belgium last season, scoring nine goals and laying on 15 assists for his teammates, although reports from Italy suggest that AC Milan are also in the running.
Meanwhile, ex-Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson has urged his former side to target Sporting CP forward Gonzalo Plata.
