UFC president Dana White gave a priceless reaction to seeing Jiri Prochazka submit Glover Teixeira.

Fan favourite Prochazka challenged the Brazilian for the belt he won off of Jan Blachowicz in the early hours of Sunday morning in the main event of UFC 275 in Kallang, Singapore.

The Czech MMA fighter went into his third UFC fight supremely confident of claiming the 205lb crown.

But that confidence was soon put to the test as he had to overcome some serious adversity to submit Teixeira.

As expected Prochazka came out light on his feet early on and looked to pick his opponent apart from range.

Teixeira returned fire with a few good shots of his own and sent Prochazka stumbling across the cage after catching him flush on the chin.

Prochazka, however, regathered his senses, before forcing Teixeira to tap out at the end of the fifth round from sheer exhaustion.

And White, who celebrated his son's 21st birthday at the weekend, could not believe what he was seeing.

During an Instagram live, he said: "He's f***ing choking him... He tapped! No way! No f***ing way!

"Jiri f***ing tapped him out! No way. No way.

"What a f***ing fight. What an absolute f***ing war, man. Shit my phone's f***ing blowing up."

Prochazka, meanwhile, was unhappy with his performance overall, as he felt he could have done a few things differently.

After the fight, he said: “From my side it was a horrible fight, horrible performance.

"Honestly. You saw that fight. I just survived some moments. It’s my plan to be dominant and not just to be a survivor in there.

"For you it’s beautiful because you like to be entertained, but for a fighter, I like to fight clean.

“I was a little bit lazy to set up some situations and to prepare him for the knockout, to watch in the striking. To see him, to see the moments, to see the right place, and catch it. That was my laziness in the fight.

“He didn’t surprise me with nothing. We knew all these things, and he was successful in there. So I have to work on that.

"Not just work on the training, but work on myself to stop doing things. I know where is the mistakes in my preparation, in my life, and what I have to change for the fight.”
