WWE have once again teased an upcoming feud between United States Champion Theory and John Cena.

John Cena returns to Monday Night Raw on 27 June to celebrate twenty years since his famous WWE debut, in what is the culmination of ‘Cena month’.

However, it’s his online altercations with one current WWE Superstar that has got fans talking and Theory has once again counited to fires shots at the sixteen-time world champion.

During a WWE Live event over the weekend, the United States Champion and WWE shared a video to Instagram of Theory lightly mocking John Cena. In the video the Upstart is seen wearing a Cena ‘Word Life’ t-shirt before transitioning into his entrance and standard attire at the Springfield Sunday Stunner live event.

The 24-year-old then looks at the camera and says ‘right here, all day’ before saluting in the same vein as Cena does in his entrances.

The stunt is the latest interaction between the two Superstars, which began when Theory became United States champion back in April and threw shade at Cena by declaring he’d be a ‘more talented’ champion.

Since then, there have been a number of back and forths between the pair. With Theory posting a mocked-up match graphic of him and Cena for SummerSlam, and Cena name dropping Vince McMahon’s protégé on a recent TikTok Q&A when asked who is the Superstar who most needs an Attitude Adjustment.

The Hollywood star also recently posted an image to his Instagram account depicting Kevin Owens standing on the US Championship belt. Something which fans have taken to meaning he’s set for a feud over that title.

Their war of words as sparked speculation that a match between Theory and Cena is being planned, with next year’s WrestleMania being the likely destination for any major clash.
