Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: Everything We Know So Far

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

When Scarlet and Violet arrive on Nintendo Switch in late 2022, they will usher in the ninth generation of Pokémon.

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet are likely to carry the franchise ahead, expanding on the open-area advancements of Pokémon Sword and Shield and Pokémon Legends: Arceus to be the series’ first entirely open-world titles, coming very shortly after the release of Pokémon Legends: Arceus in January.

According to the official website for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, the franchise “takes a new evolutionary step, enabling you to roam freely in a beautifully expressive open-world” with these releases. There are no borders between the several communities that blend perfectly into the environment.

It is great because the Pokémon of this region will be found in the air, the seas, the forests, and the streets, basically everywhere!

Below is everything we know so far about the release of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet.

The Pokémon Company has produced two trailers so far, describing what we may expect in Scarlet and Violet. The first is brief, but it’s jam-packed with enough details and information for us to make some educated guesses.

The second clip was more comprehensive, showcasing a fresh batch of Pokémon, including the new legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon, as well as Lechonk, the internet’s newest phenomenon. It also revealed more gameplay elements and introduced new characters, including academics and a new friendly rival.

Scarlet and Violet provide an open-world experience that only the Pokémon series can provide, one that is welcome even to beginners to the franchise. You can immerse yourself in a new type of adventure, one in which you are free to explore the world at your leisure rather than in the order set by the tale. You’ll go on a journey to perfect your talents as a Pokémon Trainer, but there will be plenty more discoveries and stories along the way. Meet a wide range of people and Pokémon, and go on an adventure in the Pokémon world the way you desire.

How To Pre-Order

Pre-orders for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet double packs have now opened on Amazon at $159,96 and £131,74 for both.
