The empty space that is WWE women's tag teams may have been given a glimmer of hope through the new partnership of Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan.

The two duo linked up again on the latest episode of Monday Night Raw and won their Money in the Bank qualifying match.

Bliss and Morgan defeated Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H to book their tickets to the pay-per-view ladder match next month.

These two women, who already have their own strong individual fanbase behind them, seem to have captured the hearts of the WWE Universe already.

Until recently, Bliss had been away from the wrestling scene after undergoing sinus surgery and upon her return, she has switched to a new and exciting gimmick.

Her popular Goddess persona has been spliced with her most recent supernatural image, which strikes a happy medium for fans.

Meanwhile, Morgan was betrayed by former tag team partner Rhea Ripley, who turned heel and joined The Judgement Day.

So Bliss and Morgan teaming up has not only paired together two athletic wrestlers, but sparked a new friendship.

The two have genuine onscreen chemistry and an endearing vibe about them — like they have been friends for years.

"As much as I've had so much teaming with you, the best time of my life, I kinda can't be your friend anymore because I'm totally climbing up that ladder and grabbing that briefcase," Morgan said after their win on Monday Night Raw.

Bliss responded: "There is no friends or fair fighting, I understand, and I do want you to succeed, just not at my expense."

While the two are indeed scheduled to come up against each other at the Money in the Bank ladder match, the friends kept smiling even as they discussed it.

The partnership is something fans have already taken a shine to.

One supporter said they hope the duo go on to become "a legendary team" together, while a fan of Morgan has described the team as "heaven on earth."

The Money in the Bank qualifying match was the first official time Morgan and Bliss had entered the ring as a duo. However, the two did seem to be working together during a fatal four-way match last week as they both tried to take down Ripley.

The 13th instalment of Money in the Bank will hit screens on Saturday, July 2nd.
