WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has teased a showdown with a current WWE Superstar, and a return to ring with WWE.

The seven-time women’s champion hasn’t competed in a WWE match since her bout with Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019, which was held in her hometown of Toronto. Stratus also made an appearance in the first-ever women’s Royal Rumble a year prior.

However, the 46-year-old has previously hinted that she could make a WWE comeback for a potential match with Sasha Banks and has thrown some shade online in the direction of Becky Lynch. Opening the door to what could a huge marquee match.

Speaking to Bill Apter for Sportskeeda, Stratus once again teased fans about a showdown with Lynch, stating that right now could be the perfect time to challenge Big Time Becks.

I mean if someone’s out of line – Becky Lynch, I might [step in the ring]. It would really be nothing. She’s a little out of sorts right now, got a lot on her mind and I think I could take advantage of that, don’t tell her I said that, and maybe just slip in there and just beat her.

Stratus admitted last month that watching Lita’s recent return to action at February’s Elimination Chamber event had given her an itch to get back in the ring and discussed the possibility of a different role, like a general manager.

Trish is seen as one the trailblazers of women’s wrestling in WWE and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame by best friend and ultimate for Lita in 2019.

As for Becky Lynch she’ll be looking to put her recent disappointments behind her on next week’s Raw, when she once again goes one-on-one with Asuka in a Money in the Bank qualifying match. The winner will head to the Money in the Bank event to compete in the women’s ladder match on July 2nd
