Tyson Fury has confirmed he intends to take part in exhibition fights going forward and even named some possible opponents.

Speaking to Good Morning Britain from his home in Morcambe and sitting upon that iconic throne, The Gypsy King explained the difference between professional and exhibition bouts.

“The difference is in an exhibition you’re not there to win or lose. You’re there to enjoy, have a good time and put on a show for the fans.”

He even called it “Hollywood-style entertainment” and even stated that you can fight literally anyone from “old-timers” to “famous people.”

This led to the 33-year-old listing off potential candidates as future opponents.

Former world heavyweight champion Mike Tyson was the first man he named and wouldn’t that be something to behold?

“Iron” Mike hasn’t ruled out the possibility of taking part in exhibition contests in recent times, especially given that he is rumoured to fight YouTube star Jake Paul.

Fury would have the height and weight advantage over Tyson, but “Iron” would give him a run for his money in terms of skill.

However, seeing two of the greatest heavyweights from two different generations of boxing going head-to-head would be something special.

The second man he named he’d like to face is Lennox Lewis.

Lewis himself was a very accomplished professional in his heyday, winning three world championships and was the last heavyweight to hold the undisputed championship.

He also named another British boxing legend in Frank Bruno, whose peak moment came when he defeated Oliver McCall on points to finally win the WBC Championship in front of a capacity crowd at Wembley Stadium in 1995.

Speaking of Hollywood, The Gypsy King also named Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as a possible exhibition fight.

Both men have previously had tenures with WWE, with Johnson considered one of the most legendary professional wrestlers of all time having won 10 world championships.

While it is unknown if Johnson has any boxing prowess, it would be electrifying to see the Gypsy King go one-on-one with The Great One.
