Tottenham target Richarlison could be Antonio Conte's "marquee signing" of the summer window, according to journalist Pete O'Rourke.

The Spurs boss is hoping to make one big attacking signing and O'Rourke reckons that could end up being the £43.2m-rated Everton forward.

Richarlison generally splits opinion, but it's really not difficult to see why Spurs are targeting him.

Not only does he offer versatility, which would prove a massive help if Steven Bergwijn leaves the club, but he's a proven goalscorer at this level and has scored goals in generally underperforming sides.

In his entire Premier League career across his time with Watford and Everton, Richarlison has found the net 48 times and laid on 18 assists in 173 appearances, which is a goal contribution once every 2.7 games.

Those numbers are nothing to stand up and take note of, but when you remember Tottenham already have Heung Min Son, Dejan Kulusevski and Harry Kane in their ranks, meaning Richarlison is unlikely to be a nailed on starter, then signing the Brazilian will only improve their squad even more.
