Romelu Lukaku had a disastrous first season back at Chelsea.

The Blues re-signed the Belgian for a club record £97.5 million fee in July 2021. They were hoping he would be their main man for many years to come.

Lukaku started the 2021/22 campaign on fire but injuries derailed his progress.

Just months after joining, Lukaku then questioned Thomas Tuchel's tactics and suggested he wanted to move back to Inter Milan in a remarkable interview.

He finished the season with just eight Premier League goals.

The season has now come to an end and Transfermarkt have updated the market values of those plying their trade in the Premier League.

Kane and Salah have both seen their values drop but remain the most valuable players in the Premier League alongside Foden. The trio are worth £81m.

Fernandes and De Bruyne have also seen their values drop and are worth £76.5m.

While Rice and Rodri have vaulted into the top 10 and are now worth £72m.

Sancho and Grealish have both dropped out of the top 10 after underwhelming seasons. They are now worth £67.5m and £63m respectively.

While Lukaku is also worth £63m. That figure is some way off the £97.5m Chelsea paid for him just last year.
