With AEW X NJPW's crossover show Forbidden Door just around the corner, the match card is beginning to take shape as two more championship matches have been added to the card.

The first of these is a singles match for the IWGP United States Championship, where champion Will Ospreay will defend against Orange Cassidy.

The match was confirmed by AEW on Twitter last night after Cassidy returned to AEW following the fantastic match between FTR's Dax Harwood and the IWGP United States Champion Will Ospreay on Dynamite Road Rager.

Ospreay and Dax would go to war, putting on a great wrestling match that had the perfect blend of strong style and athleticism. However, Ospreay would prevail after hitting Dax with the Hidden Blade to pick up the victory.

Post-match would see the whole United Empire surround Dax before his partner Cash came to assist as well as Roppongi Vice to brawl with IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Great-O-Khan and Jeff Cobb as well as Aussie Open.

Ospreay would be left on his own in the ring until he was confronted by the returning Cassidy, who got in the face of Ospreay before the IWGP United States Champion retreated.

This is another match-up that sees New Japan Pro Wrestling take on AEW.

However, there is an AEW Women's Championship on the line between two of the best women on the roster in Thunder Rosa and Toni Storm.

Strom has only been in AEW for a short while but has made an instant impact, defeating the likes of Jamie Hayter and recently former AEW Women's Champion Britt Baker.

However, Storm will be facing her toughest challenge yet in the AEW Women's Champion Thunder Rosa. Rosa has defeated the likes of Nyla Rose, Marina Shafir, Serena Deeb and Britt Baker during her impressive AEW Women's Championship reign.

The match was confirmed last night on Dynamite following Storm's impressive victory over Baker, and the stage is set for June 26th at the Uniter Center in Chicago at Forbidden Door.

You can watch AEW and AEW X NJPW's Forbidden Door internationally on FITE TV.
