Sami Zayn’s dedication to The Bloodline has reached new depths after fan footage of him paying to homage to Roman Reigns was posted on social media.

Over the past few weeks, we’ve seen Sami Zayn align himself with Roman Reigns and The Usos in the The Bloodline, as a somewhat honouree member of the faction. Constantly looking for approval from the group and even going as far as posting an amusing image on his Instagram account depicting him ‘growing up’ with the members.

Now Zayn has taken his dedication to the next level during a recent WWE Live event in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The 37-year-old can added some familiar maneuverers to his move set, by emulating some of Roman Reigns’ most famous moves, during his match with Drew McIntyre.

In footage captured by WWE fan @imreimagined on Twitter, Zayn is seen performing both the Superman punch and a spear into a table on the Scottish Warrior. Sami even channels his inner-Reigns, by doing the Tribal Chief’s signature taunt before delivering the Spear to McIntyre.

Sami’s association with The Bloodline is responsible for this Friday’s Unified WWE Universal Championship match between champion Reigns and Riddle. It was Zayn’s defeat to The Original Bro on last week’s SmackDown that granted Riddle his championship opportunity against the Tribal Chief.

The title match will mark the first defence of Reigns’ Unified WWE Universal Championship since he was victorious over Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania. It was a match that had been originally pencilled in for Money In the Bank, but Roman is no longer scheduled for that show.

There was also a plan in place for Reigns to take on Riddle’s tag team partner Randy Orton in the SummerSlam main event. However, reports now seem to suggest that Orton could be out until 2023 with a back injury, meaning a new challenger will need to be established for July’s big show.
