A list of the current top 50 pound for pound boxers has been released by World Boxing News.

The rankings are from the top stars in the sport and are based on a number of factors, including world title wins, multi-weight titles, opponent calibre, manner of victories, ability, longevity, activity in a calendar year and reputation.

Fighters who have defeated opponents who also appear in the list are awarded more ranking points and any boxer who has a lack of activity, retires or has an injury will be removed.
