On July 15, 2017, England's U19s were crowned European Champions.
England emerged through Group B with a perfect record as they defeated Netherlands, Germany and Bulgaria.
After defeating Czech Republic in the semi-final, England met Portugal in the final in Gori, Georgia.
And the Young Lions prevailed 2-1 to win the competition for the 10th time in their history.
Five years have now passed since their triumph. But who were part of the squad and how are their football careers going now?
GK: Aaron Ramsdale
Where were they in 2017? Bournemouth
Where are they now? Arsenal
Ramsdale has enjoyed a rapid rise through the years. In 2018, he was playing for League Two outfit Chesterfield. Fast forward four years and he is now at Arsenal and is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. He has won three England caps.

GK: Nathan Trott
Where were they in 2017? West Ham United
Where are they now? West Ham United
Now 23, Trott is still at West Ham but has played just once for the club. He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Ligue 2 outfit, Nancy.
DEF: Trevoh Chalobah
Where were they in 2017? Chelsea
Where are they now? Chelsea
After loan spells at Ipswich, Huddersfield and Lorient, Chalobah broke through to Chelsea's first team in the 2021/22 season, where he scored four times in 30 games.
DEF: Jay Dasilva
Where were they in 2017? Chelsea
Where are they now? Bristol City
After a successful loan spell, Dasilva joined Bristol City in a permanent deal in 2018. He has played 106 times for the Championship club.

Where were they in 2017? Fulham
Where are they now? Blackburn Rovers
After seven appearances for Fulham, Edun joined Lincoln City in 2020. He made the move to Blackburn in 2021.
DEF: Dujon Sterling

Where are they now? Chelsea
Sterling is still at Chelsea, although he's far from the first-team squad. He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Blackpool.
DEF: Darnell Johnson
Where were they in 2017? Leicester City
Where are they now? Fleetwood Town
Johnson failed to make an appearance for Leicester. He joined Fleetwood last year but only made three appearances for the club in the 2021/22 season.

Where are they now? Vitória de Guimarães
Suliman joined Portuguese side Vitória de Guimarães in 2020. He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Liga Portugal 2 outfit, Nacional.

James is now one of the best right-backs in world football. He played a pivotal role in Chelsea's Champions League success in 2021.
DEF: Ryan Sessegnon

Where are they now? Tottenham Hotspur
Aged 16 and 91 days, Sessegnon became the youngest player to score in a Championship match when he netted for Fulham against Leeds in 2016. After 120 appearances for Fulham, he made the move to Spurs in 2019. He found the first few years of his spell tough but finished the season strong under Antonio Conte.

MID: Andre Dozzell
Where were they in 2017? Ipswich Town
Where are they now? Queens Park Rangers
Dozzell made 93 appearances for Ipswich before joining QPR in 2021. He failed to hit the back of the net in 33 games for the club in the 2021/22.
MID: Jacob Maddox
Where were they in 2017? Chelsea
Where are they now? Vitória de Guimarães
Chelsea departed Chelsea for Vitória de Guimarães in 2020. He spent the 2021/22 season on loan at Burton Albion.
MID: Mason Mount
Where were they in 2017? Chelsea
Where are they now? Chelsea
Mount enjoyed his best season in 2021/22 as he scored 11 Premier League goals. Now 23, he's already been capped 31 times by England.

MID: Marcus Edwards
Where were they in 2017? Tottenham Hotspur
Where are they now? Sporting Lisbon
Edwards scored 20 times in 85 games for Vitória de Guimarães. He made the move to Sporting Lisbon earlier this year.
FWD: Ben Brereton Díaz
Where were they in 2017? Nottingham Forest
Where are they now? Blackburn Rovers
Brereton Diaz was one of the most lethal goal scorers in the Championship in 2021/22 as he found the back of the net 22 times. He now has 15 caps and four goals... for Chile.
FWD: Isaac Buckley-Ricketts
Where were they in 2017? Manchester City
Where are they now? Southport
In 2019, Buckley-Ricketts had fallen out of the Football League and was playing for amateur side, Stretford Paddock. He now plays for National League North side, Southport.

Dasilva played a key role as Brentford were promoted to the Premier League in 2021. He played just 10 games in the 2021/22 season due to a hip injury. He is not related to Jay Dasilva.
FWD: Lukas Nmecha
Where were they in 2017? Manchester City
Where are they now? VfL Wolfsburg
Nmecha joined Wolfsburg in 2021. He scored 10 times in his first season at the club. After representing England at every level from U16-U21, Nmecha decided to change allegiances to Germany. He has played six times for Die Mannschaft.
