Israel Adesanya will be heading back to the octagon in the main event of UFC 276 and The Last Stylebender recently heaped praise on one of the fighters in the co-main event of the PPV.
There are a number of massive names that have fought in the Featherweight ranks of the company in the past such as Conor McGregor, Max Holloway, Jose Aldo and Urijah Faber.
Whilst the GOAT conversation is always speculative, it is certainly interesting to get the views of a reigning UFC Champion!
Here is what Israel Adesanya had to say regarding the Featherweight GOAT ahead of UFC 276 on Saturday 2nd July 2022 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Israel Adesanya on Alexander Volkanovski
Speaking to YouTube channel The Rock, Adesanya would claim that the smaller fighter was the greatest of all time in the Featherweight division.
He said: "Alexander Volkanovski, the greatest featherweight of all time, the champion. He and I are headlining International Fight Week in Las Vegas... Right now, what we're doing as Oceania is unprecedented, it's never been done before. We're storming America and headlining their stadiums."
It’s quite the praise from the reigning Champion of the 185-pound division of the Ultimate Fighting Championships, as noted, the Featherweight ranks have had some massive names in the past.

Alexander Volkanovski made the third defence of his UFC featherweight title
Alexander Volkanovski vs Max Holloway - UFC 276
Volkanovski is set to defend his title against Max Holloway at the upcoming UFC 276 event on Saturday 2nd July 2022.
This will be the third time that the two men have clashed in the octagon, and it is one of the most anticipated fights of 2022.
Volkanovski is currently 2-0 on Holloway, although the second fight ended in controversy as Volkanovski barely retained his title via split decision and many fans and critics believed that Holloway had done enough to take the gold.
Hopefully, we will be treated to yet another instant classic in the annals of the UFC Featherweight division when Holloway and Volkanovski clash for potentially the final time on Saturday 2nd July 2022.
