When it comes to WWE Superstars, Becky Lynch is up there as one of the most recognised and popular figures.

From her debut in 2014 to now, Big Time Becks has seen some memorable gimmick changes. Some will go down in WWE history, some are perhaps best left in the past.

Here's a look at how the iconic Irish wrestler has changed over the years during her meteoric rise into the spotlight.

Irish dancing NXT debut

When watching Lynch's debut on NXT after witnessing her ascent to greatness, it's hard to recognise her.

The rising star was pushed on a heavily stereotypical Irish gimmick, featuring a green outfit and entrance music of pipes and whistles.

Lynch even topped it off with an Irish jig, which was mocked by Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair.

Her first ever match was a success — beating Summer Rae in speedy fashion — but the same can't be said for her debut gimmick.

Lita-inspired rocker

After thankfully moving away from the gimmick Lynch herself described as one to forget, she took on a whole new image.

She sported a more edgier look, which drew comparisons with WWE Hall of Famer Lita's gimmick.

This is a look that is often forgotten about, but it paved the way for one of Lynch's most iconic looks.

Steampunk

The steampunk era is when things really started to take off for Lynch.

The difference between her happy-go-lucky Irish jig entrance in 2014 to this memorable era is astonishing.

Lynch switched up her rocker style for the steampunk image and carried it into her main roster debut.

In 2016, she became the inaugural winner of the SmackDown Women's Championship after winning a six-pack elimination challenge for the title.

After winning her first belt, there was no stopping her astronomical rise to the top.

The Man

Lynch adopted the iconic moniker The Man in 2018 during her heated rivalry with Charlotte Flair.

She claimed to be the top women's wrestler on the WWE roster and was willing to go to any length to prove this.

She drifted away from the steampunk image and instead sported simple, yet effective wrestling gear — usually black leather and hot pants.

After defeating Charlotte for her second SmackDown women's title reign, Lynch made history at WrestleMania 35 when she became the first and only woman to hold both titles simultaneously. Thanks to her unique achievement, she adopted the famous nickname Becky Two Belts.

Becky Lynch WrestleMania 35

The Winner Takes All match between The Man, Charlotte and Ronda Rousey marked the first time a women's match had ever headlined a WrestleMania event.

Lynch dropped the SmackDown title to The Queen at Money in the Bank the following month, but went on to become the longest reigning Raw women's champion with 398 days as title-holder.

This era is unarguably the most successful and iconic of Lynch's career so far.

Big Time Becks

Lynch took a 15-month hiatus after announcing she was pregnant and relinquishing her title to Asuka.

Upon her return, she gatecrashed Bianca Belair's SmackDown title defence match against Carmella at SummerSlam and snatched the belt in less than 30 seconds.

Her new heel persona came with a new nickname, Big Time Becks.

As if she never left, Lynch reigned supreme on the blue brand before swapping belts with Charlotte during the Draft. She then held the Raw Women's Championship from October 2021 to April 2022, where she was overthrown by Bianca Belair.

Becky Lynch will have a big match at WWE SummerSlam

This era has seen Lynch sport some interesting outfits, including her goat jacket and a series of outlandish sunglasses.

Big Time Becks also cut her hair short after an intense feud with Belair. Lynch threatened to chop off her rival's trademark braid, but The EST of WWE got in there first and cut Lynch's hair on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Since dropping her title, Lynch has been thrown into a downward spiral, suffering loss after loss. Her character looks a shell of the champion she once was, which begs the question, is an exciting new era of Lynch in the pipeline?
