The Hoops enjoyed an impressive 2021/22 campaign, with them winning their 10th Scottish Premiership title in 11 seasons and also clinching the Scottish League Cup, but it appears Jullien could be on his way out of the club.
What’s the latest news involving Jullien?
Ange Postecoglou was appointed as Celtic’s boss 12 months ago, but the adjustment in the dugout did not pay off for Jullien as he was limited to just 16 minutes of action throughout the entirety of last season.
A lack of opportunities has led to the Frenchman revealing his frustrations and initially considering a move away from Glasgow.
Interest was forthcoming from Jullien’s homeland, with various Ligue 1 sides monitoring his situation and mulling over whether to head to Scotland with a bid.
However, clubs are yet to head to the negotiating table to test Celtic’s resolve and Jullien, whose £20,000-per-week contract is set to expire next summer, remains at Parkhead.
The 29-year-old appears to have had a change of mindset, increasing the possibility of the £4.95million-rated man staying on the Hoops’ books beyond the closure of the transfer window.
That is because, after a meeting with his representatives in Paris, Jullien has told Postecoglou he is ready to fight for his future instead of jumping ship.

What has Anthony Joseph said about Jullien?
While it seems Jullien is no longer eager to secure a move away from Celtic, Joseph believes it could be taken out of the central defender’s hands.
The Sky Sports reporter feels the reigning Scottish Premiership champions will be open to accepting a bid of as little as £3million.
He also understands Ligue 1 clubs are circling ahead of potentially heading to the negotiating table.
Joseph told GIVEMESPORT: “If a French club – and I know there’s some interest in France for him – were to put in a bid of maybe £3million or £4million, I think Celtic would listen to that, definitely.”
Will Jullien’s opportunities increase if he stays at Celtic?
He played all but 90 minutes of Celtic’s Scottish Premiership campaign, so it is expected that he will be one of the first names on the team-sheet when the 2022/23 season gets underway.
Carl Starfelt was regularly Carter-Vickers’ partner at the heart of the Hoops’ backline, with him chalking up 49 appearances, so it will be difficult for Jullien to move above either of them in the pecking order.
