The go-home Dynamite to Forbidden Door was stacked, featuring the likes of Hangman Adam Page, United Empire, Toni Storm, Jon Moxley, Malakai Black, and more.

Plus, there were two huge shock debut appearances from NJPW stars.

Bryan Danielson promo-

The show kicked off with the Blackpool Combat Club's American Dragon, Bryan Danielson, taking to the ring to address his status for this Sunday's Forbidden Door as well as next Wednesday's Blood and Guts match.

Danielson hasn't been in action since his Anarchy In The Arena loss to the Jericho Appreciation Society due to him not being medically cleared to wrestle.

The American Dragon would reveal he is still not cleared to wrestle but explained that Zack Sabre Jr will have an opponent at Forbidden Door and it will be a mystery opponent who is the newest member of the Blackpool Combat Club.

To the shock of the fans in attendance, Zack Sabre Jr would emerge from the back, taunting Danielson from the stage as we await Sunday to find out who this mystery opponent is.

Orange Cassidy and Roppongi Vice def United Empire ( Will Ospreay and Aussie Open)

This match encapsulated the perfect blend of athleticism and strong-style wrestling.

Orange Cassidy took early control of Mark Davis, utilising his speed to evade the powerhouse and pull off some good offence.

As the match progressed, there were some unbelievable spots from both teams, most notably being Cassidy's slick reversal of Ospreay's suplex into the stundog millionaire.

United Empire would regain some momentum with Mark Davis incapacitating Rocky Romero with a vicious piledriver.

However, it would be Freshly Squeezed who would pick up the victory for his team after dropping Kyle Fletcher with the Orange Punch.

Post-match saw IWGP Heavyweight Tag Champions Jeff Cobb and Great-O-Khan emerge to the ring before ROH World Tag Team Champions FTR levelled the playing field.

Christian Cage promo-

Cage explains his actions from last week's events when he turned on Jungle Boy and delivered a cinchairto to him in front of his family after The Jurassic Express lost the AEW Tag Team Championships to the Young Bucks.

Cage would make it extremely personal, and as Luchasaurus looked to stop him, Chrisitan talked his way into the two of them discussing it backstage.

Malakai Black def Penta Oscuro- All-Atlantic Championship Qualifier Match

The match would kick into high gear from the get-go with both rivals scouting each other perfectly. However, Penta would gain the advantage after dropping Black with a huge backstabber from the corner.

Black would soon shift the momentum after cracking Penta in the skull with a devastating knee strike, followed by a huge moonsault to the outside.

The closing moments would see Penta hit an avalanche Fear Factor, but Malakai was able to utilise his ring IQ to roll away from Penta before he could make the pin.

This led to Black delivering a spinning heel kick to pick up the victory.

Post-match would see a stare-down between Pac and Black before they are interrupted with a vignette from Miro.

Hangman Adam Page def Silas Young-

A rivalry renewed as former AEW World Heavyweight Champion Hangman Adam Page took on a debuting former ROH World TV Champion in Silas Young.

Young demonstrated fantastic offence in this match, showcasing his strength of athleticism and power, almost putting away the cowboy.

However, a missed moonsault from Young allowed Page to follow up with a devastating discus lariat before finishing off the match with the Buckshot Lariat.

Post-match saw Page confronted by Adam Cole and IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White. White took to the ring to express how neither Cole nor Page will be getting a shot for the title. This instigated a brawl between the Cowboy and The Switchblade until Cole emerged to make it a two-on-one assault.

This prompted the surprise appearance of former IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada, who charged to the ring to level the playing field.

It was revealed that all four men will be in a four-way match for the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship at Forbidden Door.

Toni Storm def Marina Shafir-

Storm looked to gain momentum going into her highly anticipated AEW Women's World Championship match against Thunder Rosa at Forbidden Door.

The match would begin with Shafir looking to synch in a submission hold on Strom but she is quick to get to the ropes.

Shafir, with the assistance of Nyla Rose on the outside, would continue to inflict punishment on Storm. However, a tornado DDT on the outside would finally push momentum into the favour of the number one contender.

A hip attack in the corner followed by a well-crafted roll-up pin gave Storm the win.

Post-match saw a two-o-one attack from Rose and Shafir before Thunder Rosa emerged to the ring to assist the Forbidden Door opponent, Storm would hit Rose with Rosa's AEW Women's World Championship before proceeding to stare down La Mera Mera.

Jon Moxley and Hiroshi Tanahashi def Chris Jericho and Lance Archer-

This match saw the AEW in-ring debut of NJPW's Ace, Hiroshi Tanahashi, as he teamed up with his Forbidden Door opponent Jon Moxley to get revenge on Chris Jericho and Suzuki-Gun's Lance Archer.

The match was hard-hitting from start to finish with both teams utilising precision and tenacity to exert as much punishment as possible on their opponent.

However, it would be Tanahashi and Mox who would get the upper hand after a Paradigm Shift from Mox followed by a High Fly Flow from Tanahashi on Archer secured them the victory.

Post-match saw a huge brawl on the outside between trios opponents Yuta, Umino and Kingston who exchanged with Minoru Suzuki, Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara.

As all the chaos ensued outside the ring Mox and Tanahashi continued to stare each other down where one man will walk out of Forbidden Door the Interim AEW World Champion.
