FIFA 23 is fast approaching, with some big news coming out that Juventus are finally set to make a return to the game after EA secured an exclusive multi-year partnership with the club. More on the story below.

EA originally lost the rights to Juventus back in 2020, when Konami struck a deal with the Italian giants for exclusivity rights for PES 2020. It meant that FIFA 20 was the first title in 25 years that didn't feature Juventus' stadium or name in the game.

Konami also partnered with Bayern Munich and Manchester United in the same year, but thankfully for FIFA's case - these two sides were not totally exclusive to PES, which meant they were eligible to feature in the game.

But now it's been confirmed that Konami won't be renewing their partnership with Juventus, and now EA has swooped in to secure an exclusive multi-year partnership with the club, meaning they are now eligible to feature in the FIFA franchise once again. More on the story below.

Juventus to make a return to FIFA 23

Vlahovic celebrates in FIFA 23

Electronic Arts and Juventus, one of the biggest and most successful Italian football clubs in the world, today announced a new, multi-year partnership, which will see Juventus return to EA SPORTS’ renowned football video game series beginning in EA SPORTS™ FIFA 23, launching September 30th 2022.

This partnership will see EA SPORTS become Juventus’ exclusive Sports Video Gaming Partner, with a fully authentic in-game integration that will feature Juventus’ stadium, Allianz Stadium, along with the club’s logo and kits. Both partners are also excited to work across a number of lifestyle and cultural initiatives bringing new opportunities outside of football.

As well as the club partnership, former footballer, Claudio Marchisio will join as a FUT Hero and current player Dušan Vlahović will also serve as an ambassador for EA SPORTS FIFA 23. Marchisio is well known for coming through the Juventus academy on his way to becoming a club legend and fan favourite, winning multiple Scudetto titles and now solidifying that status with a Hero item in-game in FIFA 23 Ultimate Team. FUT Heroes are some of the most memorable players to grace the pitch, now encapsulated as new items in-game representing the unforgettable moments that turned them into fan favourites.
