NJPW's self-proclaimed best technical wrestler in the world had his wish granted as he was added to the Forbidden Door card. However, the circumstances appeared to much different to what he had anticipated.

Zack Sabre Jr is one of the most technically gifted professional wrestlers on the planet. The Brit has been impressive in Japan, winning the New Japan Cup twice and being a 3-time IWGP Tag Team Champion.

On his rise in NJPW, he has defeated the likes of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Will Ospreay, Tomohiro Ishii, Kenta and more.

He made it clear after his trios loss at Dominion that he wanted to take on Blackpool Combat Club's Bryan Danielson. With fellow Suzuki-Gun members on the card in the likes of Minoru Suzuki and Lance Archer. Sabre Jr waited on his challenge to be accepted so he could be added to the card and he finally got his answer last night on AEW Dynamite.

The opening segment of last night's AEW Dynamite saw Bryan Danielson open the show to address his status for Forbidden Door on Sunday as well as Blood and Guts next Wednesday.

Danielson has been out of action since his loss in Anarchy In The Arena at Double or Nothing against the Jericho Appreciation Society.

Bryan would, unfortunately, confirm that he was unable to wrestle but he still would accept Zack Sabre Jr's to which the Brit would be facing a mystery opponent who Danielson said was one of the only people he trust and would not only be making his AEW debut but also be joining the Blackpool Combat Club ranks.

There is huge speculation on who Zack Sabre Jr could be facing, with the two most common names being mentioned online being former WWE superstars Cesaro or Johnny Gargano.

As Bryan was taking in the reception from the crowd post-promo, he was interrupted by the shock arrival of Zack Sabre Jr who taunted Danielson from the stage, making his presence known in AEW.
