West Ham United could be boosted in their attempts to lure Chelsea into selling Armando Broja as the striker is '100%' open to a London Stadium switch, according to Daily Express journalist Ryan Taylor.

The Hammers are preparing for another season of continental football, after last season's seventh-placed finish was enough to qualify for the Europa Conference League, and boss David Moyes is keen to bolster his attacking options.

What's the latest news involving Broja?

Broja spent last term on loan with Southampton, where he found the back of the net nine times and registered a further assist.

That form has clearly caught the eye of Moyes as, according to Sky Sports, he has been identified as West Ham's top striker target.

The report suggests the east Londoners are eager to intensify their pursuit of Broja and the 14-cap Albania international is set to be the subject of a £30million bid.

West Ham insider ExWHUemployee has revealed, following conversations with scouts and key figures within the club, Moyes is an admirer of Broja and is '100% interested' in securing his services.

Although Southampton have pulled out of the running for the 20-year-old's signature, Newcastle United could get involved in a bidding war with the Hammers.

What has Ryan Taylor said about Broja?

Taylor understands Broja would not hesitate in putting pen-to-paper if West Ham can reach an agreement with Chelsea over his transfer.

Although the journalist is aware the former Southampton loanee is keen to become a hit in west London, his ambitions for regular first-team football could result in a move being possible.

When asked whether the frontman would be interested in swapping Stamford Bridge for the London Stadium, Taylor told GIVEMESPORT: "Yes, 100%. I spoke to a source close to Broja in the week, who said that they're going to consider any offer that arrives.

"He is open to staying at Chelsea and wants to make it at Chelsea, but he obviously had a taste of regular football last season with Southampton and there's a feeling that he wouldn't want to sit on the bench. Ideally, he wants to play regularly."

Could Chelsea make it difficult to strike a deal?

Romelu Lukaku is on his way to Inter Milan on loan for the 2022/23 campaign, which could complicate matters.

As it stands, that will leave Timo Werner, Michy Batshuayi and Broja as head coach Thomas Tuchel's only out-and-out options at the top end of the pitch.

Consequently, Chelsea could play hard-ball as West Ham look to tempt the 6 ft 3 star across London.
