Logos, an instantly recognisable sign of who your team is and it can offer an insight into the history and culture of your side at the same time.

It could be the iconic star on the helmet of the Dallas Cowboys or the great big G that adorns the Green Bay Packers or in the case of the Cleveland Browns there could be no logo at all that helps you to set yourself aside from the rest of the teams in the league.

Yesterday we put together a tier list of teams and their uniforms, but now we want to focus on the logo that emblazons those uniforms.

Much like uniforms, for the most part across the NFL they will occasionally get a tweak here or there and they very rarely get given a major overhaul, indeed this offseason only the Washington Commanders have gone through a major

Once again using Tiermaker, we have ranked the logos of all 32 NFL teams and placed them into five categories:

Hang it in the Louvre:

Logos that are incredibly slick and fit in well with the team that they represent

A very nice design:

Very good to look at, but just missing something that would put it in the top tier

Middle of the road:

Not great, but at the same time not a disaster or ugly logo

Could use some tweaks:

By far not the worst in the league, but just not that appealing

Bin it:

Needs a serious rethink and rebuild before it sees the light of day again

It should be pointed out that we at GiveMeSport are far from masters when it comes to art skills, so this is taking it purely from a layman’s perspective on what logos should be, plus at the end of the day it’s just a bit of fun. So with that being said, here is our list of where we think the logos of NFL teams belong:

Hang it in the Louvre: Los Angeles Rams, Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

A very nice design: Atlanta Falcons, Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, New England Patriots

Middle of the road: Pittsburgh Steelers, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers, Tennessee Titans, New Orleans Saints, Carolina Panthers, Dallas Cowboys, Kansas City Chiefs

Could use some tweaks: Jacksonville Jaguars, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Indianapolis Colts, Washington Commanders, Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, Houston Texans

Bin it: Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Los Angeles Chargers, New York Giants, New York Jets
