FIFA 23: West Ham United Predicted Ratings

West Ham United celebrate

FIFA 23 is fast approaching, which means ratings will be released to the public very soon. But for now, let’s take a look at some predictions, this time focusing on the London side, West Ham United.

West Ham enjoyed one of their most successful seasons ever last year, with David Moyes bringing excitement and optimism back for every Hammers fan out there. The highlight of their season was most certainly their run in the Europa League. They defeated some European powerhouses on their travels, beating Sevilla and Lyon.

Unfortunately, they fell in the semi-finals, to eventual winners Frankfurt – so they can’t be too disheartened.

They also had a fantastic league campaign, finishing 7th just behind Manchester United, which has secured them another European venture next year in the form of the newly established Europa Conference League.

Thanks to their terrific efforts last season, they should be due for a few upgraded cards. So with this, let’s take a look at West Ham United’s predicted ratings for FIFA 23.

Goalkeepers and Defenders

  • Lukasz Fabianski – 83 (+1)
  • Alphonse Areola – 81 (-1)
  • Aaron Cresswell – 79 (+0)
  • Kurt Zouma – 82 (+1)
  • Vladimir Coufal – 80 (+0)
  • Craig Dawson – 79 (+2)
  • Angelo Ogbonna – 80 (+0)
  • Nayef Aguerd – 79 (+3)
  • Issa Diop – 77 (+0)
  • Arthur Masuaku – 75 (-2)

Beginning with the defenders and goalkeeper, we don’t have very many big movers.

The biggest mover in our opinion is going to be the recent summer signing from Stade Rennes – Nayef Aguerd. He’s been massively consistent for the French side this season and could be a smart buy for the Hammers.

Another defender who surprised many and had a great season was Craig Dawson. He was rock solid for David Moyes’ side and justifies a +2 rating.

Arthur Masuaku obtains the biggest downgrade to a 75.

Declan Rice of West Ham United celebrates

  • Pablo Fornals – 79 (+0)
  • Manuel Lanzini – 78 (+1)
  • Nikola Vlasic – 77 (-3)
  • Tomas Soucek – 83 (+1)
  • Declan Rice – 85 (+3)

Now onto the midfielders, where we see some fluctuating ratings again.

Declan Rice has been sensational once again this season. 82 was very low for the English midfielder in FIFA 22 and we think 85 could very well be his new rating in the next title.

Tomas Soucek and Pablo Fornals both get a +1 in our opinion, they’ve been super consistent. A player who sadly moves down -3 is Nikola Vlasic, he never really hit the ground running after his big-money move last summer.

Jarrod Bowen of West Ham United celebrates

  • Michail Antonio – 81 (+2)
  • Jarrod Bowen – 82 (+4)
  • Said Benrahma – 79 (+2)

Just the three attackers at West Ham at the moment – with more surely to come throughout summer.

They all receive upgrades, including a hefty one for Jarrod Bowen after a terrific year at the London Stadium.
