Floyd Mayweather reveals how much money he makes a month

Floyd Mayweather On What He Earns a Month

Floyd Mayweather has hit back at Jake Paul and Logan Paul as the pair claim he was broke after not paying up what was owed following the exhibition between Money and Logan.

After a war of words, the pair finally sorted it out to step in the ring together in an exhibition bout which saw them go toe-to-toe for the full eight rounds. Although no winner was announced given it was an exhibition, it was a breeze as expected for the 50-0 champion.

Despite the fight over a year ago, the drama has continued between them. Paul claims he is owed around $5 million from the fight, threating Mayweather with legal action should he not receive what he claims he is owed.

Jake Paul claimed that Mayweather was broke despite him accumulating $1 billion in career earnings, he’s obviously invested some of that into business, so he claims to still be making a healthy living despite being retired.

He still participates in exhibition bouts to make money alongside his business ventures which he claims makes him $300 million a month.

While he was giving his speech during his Hall of Fame induction, Mayweather said: “I will continue to give back to the sport of boxing in my time, and I will also give back financially because I got it.

“To my team, my guys in New York, and my other real estate team that’s here today, we can’t be stopped. In 32 months, I put myself in a position with a smart business team to make $300m a month. It all started from the sport of boxing.”

We still don’t know if that’s true or not, but he didn’t earn the nickname ‘Money’ for no reason and you would fully expect him to make loads of money just by being Floyd Mayweather and the endorsements that can bring.

Another mystery is whether or not the Paul has been paid. It’s a bit of he said they said at the moment, unless both parties open up their books, I guess all claims will be left unproven.

Mayweather has certainly made a fortune via boxing and has been in the business long enough to know the ins and outs of it, you’d imagine he did pay up. If he hasn’t done, you’d be surprised if it was because he is broke rather than something else.

If he hasn’t paid up, Paul would surely have taken him to court by now to get the money he is owed after the fight.
