AEW: La Faccion Ingobernable reunites on Rampage

The PPV quality singles match on Rampage between Andrade El Idolo and Rey Fenix saw a huge twist as an old faction was reborn.

Andrade and Fenix took each other to the limit with Death Triangle’s high flyer showcasing his gravity-defying athleticism while Andrade utilised his array of styles.

The match would begin with Fenix taking control of Andrade and using the ropes to his advantage.

However, it would come crashing down for Fenix as a surprise appearance from Rush, who we first saw at AEW Revolution, hit him with a low blow while the referee was distracted.

Andrade would capitalise on this and pick up the victory by hitting Fenix with the Hammerlock DDT.

After the match, Rush and Andrade would stand tall in the ring and reveal t-shirts that have the infamous La Faccion Ingobernables shirts, and Rush would proceed to demask Fenix sparking Penta to interfere.

Rush who is a former Ring Of Honor World Champion was the founder of Los Ingonerables in Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in 2013 alongside La Mascara and La Sombra.

Los Ingobernables’ movement would start to become worldwide as in 2015 La Sombra’s NJPW tag team partner Tetsuya Naito would form Los Ingobernables de Japon.

The faction has also seen the formation of Los Nuevos Ingobernable which is led by El Terrible and now the newly reformed Los Faccion Ingobernables which appears to be led by Rush and Andrade El Idolo.

In the past, previous members of the famous faction have included, Killer Kross and Kenny King.

Also, members remain in the likes of Dralistico, La Bestia Del Ring and Vangellys.

The reunion poses a great opportunity for some new faces to appear in AEW to align with Andrade and Rush to add to the strong list of factions in the company.

Merchandise is now being sold on AEW shop.
