Tyson Fury has branded Anthony Joshua ‘a diva’ ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

The undefeated Gypsy King hung up his gloves in April after a sixth-round knockout victory over Dillian Whyte at Wembley Stadium but has flirted with the idea of fighting again.

AJ, 32, is set to rematch Usyk in August having been masterfully beaten by the Ukrainian in September.

If he wins, boxing fans are hopeful that they will finally get to see the two fighters meet in the ring for all the belts.

But Fury claims his rival has turned down the chance to fight him at least six times before already.

When discussing a potential clash with Joshua, he told iFL TV: “Tried to make that fight six times at least and unsuccessful every time because you’re messing with a diva.

“Prima donna, little sucker b****, who don’t want to fight.

“He couldn’t beat me if he had a baseball bat while I was sleeping.

Tyson Fury has described Anthony Joshua as ‘a diva’ ahead of his rematch with Oleksandr Usyk.

“Years ago, when he was an undefeated knockout artist, people thought ‘he could beat Tyson Fury’.

“Then when he got bounced off the canvas by Andy Ruiz people said, ‘he’s a bodybuilder, Tyson was right, he ain’t got no chance.’

“Then when he looked shockingly s**t in the rematch against Ruiz who didn’t train a day, he was out in Mexico partying with the president, people said ‘he’s shot to bits’. Then he goes and gets beat by a cruiserweight.

“That bird has flown, I am the undefeated heavyweight king, no man can ever lace my boots and come close to me. Not even the greats of the past eras.”

Fury also went on to claim that he has no interest in ‘getting punched in the face’ for a living anymore, having announced his retirement.

He added: “I’m all out of getting punched in the face for a few quid.

“Got plenty of money, still got my faculties and brains about me. Six kids and a wife to look after. So if anyone wants to criticise me for that, they can go suck my balls basically.

“I’ve at least got a year, Mauricio Sulaiman said.

“Maybe in six months I’ll feel different.

“At the minute I don’t want to fight again, but you never know what six months will bring.

“When a mandatory comes up, I’ll make my final decision.”
