20) Caroline Graham Hansen
Nationality: Norway
Position: Forward

Those who have watched Barcelona in recent years will be well aware of Caroline Graham Hansen’s talent. The 27-year-old is renowned as one of the best wingers in the world and has won nine trophies since joining the Catalonian side.

In 2017, Hansen was part of the Norway team that had their worst ever finish at a European tournament, but she starred at the 2019 World Cup two years later – completing the most dribbles of any player in the competition.

The Barcelona star is closing in on 100 appearances for the national side now, and many are eagerly anticipating how she will fare alongside Lyon forward and compatriot Ada Hegerberg

19) Alessia Russo

Last season was a breakout one for Manchester United forward Alessio Russo. The 23-year-old scored nine goals in the Women’s Super League and registered four assists.

While the English striker made her international debut back in March 2020, she has now found herself firmly in Sarina Wiegman’s plans and could be set to play a key role for the Lionesses this summer.

Russo has made five England appearances in total, and scored a hat-trick in the Lionesses’ record-breaking win against Latvia in November 2021. Timed at 11 minutes, the hat-trick was the fastest by any England Women player in history.

In fact, she was one of four players to score a hat-trick against Latvia, alongside Beth Mead, Ellen White and Lauren Hemp.

The 20-0 win is the record for the largest victory in an England match, across both men and women’s football. It is also the sixth-biggest win in an international football match.
