In a recent video that has emerged from last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of John Cena with the WWE, the Leader of the Cenation was seen walking through a tunnel of ovation from his fellow wrestling colleagues, who applauded and congratulated the 16-time WWE Champion.Even Superstars who have had long-standing rivalries with Cena were there to congratulate and even hug the legend, even if they seemingly struggled to do so... Dolph Ziggler, we're looking at you! However, eagle-eyed fans have spotted the rather underwhelming reception in the clip provided by none other than the Irish wrestler Becky Lynch. While everyone else is stood and applauding Cena enthusiastically, Lynch remains sat, applauding slowly and with her head bowed as though she would rather be somewhere else. It's brilliant character portrayal from Lynch, who simply refuses to break her gimmick, even for a legend like John Cena.In last night’s episode, Lynch made a jaw-dropping address to the audience following her Last Chance Elimination Match qualifier victory over Shayna Baszler, Xia Li, Tamina, Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop.

In her mic-dropping speech, the victor claimed: “I didn’t need a pep talk from John Cena to know that I am the living embodiment of ‘Never Give Up.’”

Following the episode, the six-time women’s champion also tweeted: “Good to see you @JohnCena. I thought I told you three years ago, this is my show now.”

The spotted interaction, or lack of interaction for that matter, in the clip of Cena’s backstage arrival suddenly weighs far heavier in meaning, especially considering the Lasskicker's recent comments towards the 16-time champion.

However, like we said earlier, it's surely just Lynch sticking to her character and refusing to break gimmick.

Lynch will be aiming to get her career back on track by winning the upcoming Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Meanwhile for Cena, it remains to be seen whether the wrestling veteran will compete at this year’s SummerSlam.
