The British Grand Prix arrives this weekend as Formula 1 descends on Silverstone for what is always one of the biggest fixtures on the sporting calendar in this country.

100,000s of fans will visit the circuit over the coming weekend as they cheer on the 20 drivers, with local heroes Lewis Hamilton, Lando Norris and George Russell likely to get a bigger reception than most.

Certainly, it promises to be a huge occasion for them but it'd certainly be a surprise to see them emulate three former British drivers who took to the stage to play in a band after the 1995 Grand Prix, which was won by Johnny Herbert.

Alongside Herbert, Damon Hill and David Coulthard are also up at the front with Hill particularly impressing with his guitar playing.

They're joined by Tony Jardine, meanwhile, who does his best to try and get some answers out of the three men who are clearly enjoying themselves as rockstars for a brief period.

It's a cracking clip to resurface, take a look at it now:

Will we get a repeat of that this weekend? We're not so sure, but there seems a chance we might get a British winner at Silverstone at least.

Indeed, the Mercedes car has been up and down this season so far but many think that it could be a challenger this weekend at Silverstone, with the smooth track surface likely to play into their hands over car set-up.

Lewis Hamilton and George Russell will be hoping so, then, as they, and Ferrari, bid to end Red Bull's dominant run of race wins.
