We miss Premier League football.

It's been more than a month since the 2021/22 season concluded. And we're still more than a month away from the start of the 2022/23 campaign.

While there's plenty happening in the transfer market, we miss watching the beautiful game.

Therefore, between now and then, we want to bring you moments from England's top-flight to whet your appetite ahead of the new season. From the sublime to the ridiculous.

And we've discovered one that certainly falls under the 'ridiculous' category.

It might possibly be the craziest minute in Premier League history...

Let’s take you back to 2016 and a match between Everton and Arsenal at Goodison Park.

The home side led 2-1 when Phil Jagielka was sent off for a second yellow card in the 93rd minute.

Arsenal would have one last chance to equalise from the resulting free-kick and up came goalkeeper Petr Cech in an attempt to grab it.

What happened next was classic Barclays.

Arsenal had two shots cleared off the line, while Cech ended up in the Everton net after launching himself at a header. A penalty appeal was also turned down before Everton broke down the other end with Cech scrambling back but somehow the home side couldn’t score. There was even time for Arsenal to go up the other end but they couldn’t fashion themselves a dramatic equaliser.

The entire sequence (following Jagielka’s red card) was filmed by an Everton fan in the stadium.
