Switzerland Women take on England Women in an international friendly this week. Here we have everything you need to know about the fixture.

The Lionesses come off the back of a fantastic result against current Euro holder the Netherlands. They battered them 5-1 at Elland Road last week which will give them some insane confidence as the Euro 2022 campaign approaches. Wiegman's women initially went 1-0 down to the Dutch, before fighting back and putting five past them on home soil.

Switzerland on the other hand come off the back of an absolute tramping. They lost 7-0 last Friday to the Germans in what was a humiliating defeat. They'll be looking to bounce back against the English to boost confidence for their Euro campaign.

So, with this - here's everything you need to know about Switzerland Women vs England Women.

Switzerland's Lia Walti missed the defeat to Germany due to a thigh problem, and with Euro 2022 just around the corner, the Arsenal midfielder is not expected to be risked in this fixture.

As for England, they are expected to welcome star striker Ellen White back to the side after the forward missed the win over the Netherlands due to COVID-19.

White could be just one of a number of changes that are made, as Weigmann will want to keep her players fresh ahead of Euro 2022.
