Tottenham's top target is now Everton forward Richarlison, believes journalist Pete O'Rourke.

The north London club have been linked with a whole host of players in different positions recently, but O'Rourke says the Brazilian is Antonio Conte's priority right now.

What is the latest transfer news involving Tottenham?

According to 90min, Tottenham want to wrap up the signing of Richarlison, who has been described as "deadly" by former team-mate Bernard, before their pre-season starts.

Everton are thought to want £60m for the 25-year-old, but the same outlet states that the Toffees' price tag has not put Spurs off.

Richarlison is not the only attacker Tottenham have shown an interest in this summer, with Nizaar Kinsella of GOAL recently claiming that the Premier League outfit had been in discussions with Raphinha before the Leeds United star turned them down.

Further back on the pitch, it is also believed that Spurs have RB Leipzig's Josko Gvardiol on their radar, though a deal for the Croatian defender looks difficult, as his side do not want to sell him in this transfer window.

What has O'Rourke said about Richarlison to Tottenham?

While Tottenham continue to be linked with a bunch of different players right now, O'Rourke thinks Richarlison is the man Conte desperately wants.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, the journalist said: "It's looking like Richarlison is the top target for Conte at Tottenham.

"Obviously, they've been trying to structure the deal with offering Steven Bergwijn, who is of interest to Everton, as part of the deal plus money. That's been turned down, so I'm sure Everton probably would prefer the money up front because it would give them transfer funds of their own to go and strengthen their squad this summer."

Will Richarlison end up at Tottenham?

Right now, Tottenham do look best placed to land Richarlison. London rivals Chelsea and Arsenal were also thought to be keen on the Brazil international, though their interest has never seemed as strong as Spurs'.

Chelsea have been prioritising deals for Raheem Sterling and Raphinha, while the latter is someone Arsenal want as well.

The above has resulted in Tottenham practically getting a free run at Richarlison, though it would not be a shock to see the loser of the Raphinha race turn their attention back to the former Watford man.

Considering that, Spurs should try to wrap this deal up quickly, with Conte clearly eager to see Richarlison arrive at Hotspur Way.
