Strap yourselves in for this one because it’s going to be a bizarre tale of how a Russian fight promotion allowed this particular contest to go ahead.

In February, a Vietnam war veteran and his grandson stepped inside the octagon with a female fighter – and got absolutely outclassed on all fronts.

A clip of the bout is making rounds on social media yet again, with MMA fan account Matsyek on Twitter.

“It’s here and it’s beautiful,” the caption to the contentious clip reads which was posted on February 9, 2022.

The clash was similar to that of something in WWE, which was sponsored by Russia’s Epic Fighting Championship, saw 28-year-old Yulia Mishko, better known as “the Tomboy”, facing off against artist Vladimir Spartak and his grandson Big Igibob.

Obviously, this ruffled some feathers across the world with a woman fighting against two men deemed to be (rightfully so) unjust.

However, Spartak asserted neither he nor his grandson had any prior fighting experience and the two men’s combined weight was just over Mishko’s 286 pounds, as per the clip.

The contest appeared to follow typical mixed martial arts regulations with the warriors wearing MMA gloves and the referee allowed them to take to the mat with ground and pound.

The match itself took place over six 3-minute rounds and despite the numerical advantage, the confrontation got off to a surprising start.

The tattoo-clad senior took all the risks while the grandson seemed unsure what to do in the background.
The speed picked up in the second round after Mishko floored both men within the opening seconds, clearly unfazed by her two opponents that stood before her.

Spartak was the first to be knocked down with a one-two combo and then the younger Igibob was sent to the canvas via uppercut, after which Mishko attempted to ground and pound him before the grandfather sprung to make the save.

The 28-year-old female juggernaut dropped the senior member of the intra-familial team again in the third round with an absolutely smashing haymaker!

This entertaining bout had the female’s cornermen laughing in hysterics between rounds, while her coach tried to offer some legitimate advice.

By the end of the brawl, she had dropped the two men an impressive three times – and rocking them on several occasions – while remaining undamaged herself.

Despite the one-sided nature of the bout, it was ruled as a draw much to the surprise of many.

Speaking in the post-match interview, Spartak admitted he had given up on winning and just looked to go the distance to show his resilience, while his grandson said it was the best fight in EFC history.

This isn’t the first time the promotion has put on bouts like this, as in 2019 when a 23-year-old Russian bodybuilder – nicknamed “Popeye” for his cartoonishly large biceps – faced a fighter and actor 20 years older than he was.

The bodybuilder was taken to the mat and submitted within the first three minutes of the first round.

The following year, they put on a bout between female MMA star Darina Mazdyuk and 530-pound YouTuber Grigory Chistyakov in a complete mismatch.
