Sadio Mane has wasted no time in making sure he's primed and ready to light up the Bundesliga next season as photos emerge of the Senegalese hotshot looking absolutely shredded.

Bayern completed the signing of Mane earlier this month in a deal worth around £35 million.

The 30-year-old leaves Liverpool after six trophy-laden years on Merseyside, but admitted that "it was the right time" to say goodbye.

“I’m really happy to finally be at FC Bayern in Munich,” he told Bayern's website.

“We spoke a lot and I felt big interest from this great club right from the beginning, so for me there were no doubts. It’s the right time for this challenge.

"I want to achieve a lot with this club, in Europe too. During my time in Salzburg I watched a lot of Bayern games – I really like this club!”

Mane is expected to link up with his new team ahead of their pre-season trip to America this July, where the German outfit have two fixtures scheduled.

One against DC United on July 21, and another against an enemy Mane knows all too well, Manchester City, on July 24.

Understandly, Mane is keen to hit the ground running in Bavaria and will want to stamp his authority early on, especially in the match against Man City.

And if the photos he recently shared to his Instagram are anything to go by, well, let's just say Bayern are going to have an absolute machine on their hands come August.

So, first Leon Goretzka, second Robert Lewandowski, and now it seems Mane will become the latest Bayern player to become insanely ripped - maybe it's something in their contracts?

In all seriousness, though, whilst Mane was always in great shape at Liverpool, it does certainly seem like he's been putting in a few extra hours in the gym each week.

And let's keep in mind that it's only June... Who knows how good Mane could look after he undergoes a gruelling pre-season with Bayern's famously good strength and conditioning coaches.

God help the Bundesliga.
