Formula 1 is at home this weekend as the British Grand Prix marks round 10 of the 2022 world championship at Silverstone

It's one of the most popular events on the British sporting calendar and this year is once again a sellout, as racing fans from around the UK descend on this part of Northamptonshire.

Last year, of course, we saw the first-ever Sprint event take place, whilst the Grand Prix itself contained huge drama as Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton collided infamously at Copse.

What will unfold this weekend? Here are the times you need to keep in mind to find out...

Friday

There are two practice sessions on Friday at Silverstone.

FP1 takes place at 1pm UK time and lasts for an hour, whilst FP2 is scheduled for 4pm UK time, also for an hour.

Saturday

Saturday sees the third and final practice session, before qualifying takes place later on in the afternoon.

FP3 will be held at 12pm UK time before qualifying takes place at 3pm UK time.
