Scorpio Sky has been a dominant TNT Champion alongside the American Top Team. However, he will have to face his toughest challenge yet, as he puts the title on the line against Wardlow.

Scorpio Sky is a two-time TNT Champion after he captured what he now calls "Genie" in a gruelling ladder match against Sammy Guevara on the April 27th edition of Dynamite.

During his second reign, he defeated Sammy Guevara, Frankie Kazarian and Dante Martin.

However, it appears a challenger from his past wants a fair shot a the championship, this being none other than Mr Mayhem, Wardlow.

Warlow is one of the most in-form wrestlers on the roster sitting with a comfortable 53-8 record and being 14-2 in 2022, with the losses coming at the hands of now AEW World Champion CM Punk and the second coming from Scorpio Sky.

Sky defeated Wardlow on the 16th of March special St Patrick's Day Slam edition of AEW with the help of Wardlow's former allies Shawn Spears and MJF distracted the referee and drove his head into the ring post before Sky picked up the victory via a rollup.

Wardlow would get his revenge and dispatch his past at Double Or Nothing decimating MJF after weeks of torment. Now he has the chance to claim AEW gold for the first time with no distractions.

The champion revealed in a backstage promo with Wardlow on last week's AEW Dynamite that the match will take place next week, and the stipulation will be a street fight.

The stipulation could be the worst decision for Sky, but the no rules stipulation could help him maintain a numbers advantage with the help of the American Top Team.
