AEW Fight Forever is coming soon, with the game set to compete with WWE 2K22 for the ‘best wrestling game on the market’ championship.

Details have been scarce surrounding the game, though, with a couple of trailers and character reveals all that we have seen so far.

There is a tentative release date of 2022, and we hope that it can compete with the big combat games available right now.

The game's publisher is always huge news, and it is good that we have finally been told this news around AEW.

Kenny Omega reveals AEW Fight Forever publisher

As per Gamerant, Kenny Omega has now confirmed who will be publishing the game when it finally releases.

Omega is not currently wrestling in AEW as he continues to rehab several injuries, but he has appeared on a Livestream on Twitch over the weekend with CEO Gaming founder Alex Jebailey, and while online, he confirmed who would be publishing the game.

They have partnered with THQ Nordic to get the game out and on shelves but there was no more information given by the ‘best bout machine’.

The game’s title was only recently confirmed and we have not had all that much information about AEW Fight Forever at this point.

It is perhaps a surprise that Omega has announced this information ahead of the wrestling company or the publisher, as one would expect a statement from both parties confirming their collaboration.

Punk fancies a match with Omega in AEW

That hasn’t happened and we don’t know, at this point, how involved THQ Nordic are in the development of Fight Forever.

They have published several games down the years, including the likes of Destroy All Humans, Wreckfest and Darksiders, but have yet to branch out into wrestling video games.

Omega also said that he had seen new material from the game on the morning of the Livestream, so we may be getting more information soon enough.

If they are planning on releasing in 2022, though, one has to imagine that we will need to get a release date soon enough.

We’ll keep you updated once we get more information.
