Steven Gerrard is a Liverpool legend.
The former midfielder played 710 times for his beloved club, scoring 185 goals.
While he was unable to win the Premier League with the Reds, he will go down as one of the best players in the club's history.
Despite now being the manager of Aston Villa, Gerrard still loves the club.
Last month on Liverpool's 130th birthday, he spoke of how important the club is to his life.
âThis club has played such a big part in my life, a big part in a lot of my familyâs lives. And still to this day, we love it like the first day we ever met it â I certainly do," Gerrard said.
âA special football club, Iâm in a very privileged position that Iâve actually been going out to represent it as a player.
âItâs played such a big part in my life and obviously a lot of people, family and friends, so we owe this club a lot.
âItâs got a connection, itâs got a real powerful fanbase and it has that family feeling to it.â
But it's not just the club that means a lot to Gerrard. He's also very proud of Liverpool as a city.
So when former manager, Neil Warnock, attempted to mock the city back in 2017 it didn't go down well with Gerrard.
Back in January 2017 during an FA Cup tie between Plymouth and Liverpool, Warnock, Gerrard and former Liverpool player Steve McManaman were on punditry duty for BT Sport.
After presenter Jake Humphrey pointed out it was as cold in the studio as it was on the pitch, McManaman insisted that people from Liverpool are used to the conditions.
âIâm fine, Iâm from Liverpool. It doesnât bother me, the cold,â McManaman replied.
Gerrard smiled at McManamanâs comment before his face dropped when Warnock joked: âThey donât have windows there, do they?â
Warnock burst out laughing at his own joke but Gerrard gave him a death stare before Humphrey saved the awkwardness by saying: âMoving on!â

Note to self, never mock Liverpool if Gerrard is in attendance...
