After impressing with his in-ring debut at WrestleMania, Logan Paul clearly won over WWE higher-ups, with the wrestling giant making him a full-time contract offer.
And now, courtesy of Ariel Helwani, we have some more details about Logan’s deal with WWE, and what he’s going to be doing now he’s signed with the company.
Helwani reports that Paul’s deal is a “multi-year” one, and will see him wrestle at several Premium Live Events each year.
He also reports that Logan is expected to be at SummerSlam on July 30 in Nashville, but could appear on WWE TV sooner than that.
Additional details per sources:— Ariel Helwani (@arielhelwani) June 30, 2022
Deal includes an undisclosed number of premium live events across 2022 and 2023.
He’ll likely, I’m told, have his first big appearance at SS but could be on TV before that.
He signed his deal yesterday.
As you can see above, Helwani states that Paul will be working with WWE for the remainder of this year and for the entirety of 2023, so it seems like he’s signed an 18-month deal with the company.
The report also notes that Logan was at WWE HQ to sign his deal on Wednesday of this week, with the official announcement being made the following day.
With over 23 million subscribers on YouTube and over 23 million followers on Instagram, Logan clearly has a massive following, so his signing is a huge coup for WWE.
Logan took several photos at WWE HQ to show off that he’d signed the company, posing with both Triple H and Stephanie McMahon for the shots.
Noticeably absent from the photos was Vince McMahon, who stepped down as WWE CEO and Chairman last month while he’s investigated.
As of right now, there’s no exact word on what WWE is going to do with Logan, but rumours suggest he’s going to be brought in as a face to go one-on-one with The Miz at SummerSlam.
However, The Miz claimed that the pair are going to tag together at these show once again, so perhaps WWE has something different in mind for their newest signing this month.
During his WWE signing photos, fans noticed that Logan was not-so-subtly promoting his Prime drink in rather hilarious fashion, which you can read more about by clicking here.
