The Serie A giants Inter Milan and Konami have formed an exclusive multi-year partnership.

In addition to becoming an official partner of the Italian club, the developer of eFootball 2022 will become a partner of the Youth Development Center and the Training Kit Back.

The announcement comes less than a week after Konami confirmed that their partnership with Juventus and Serie A TIM will not be renewed.

Now, as we approach another exhilarating Serie A Tim season eFootball's logo will also appear on the back of the first team training kit for the men's, women's, and youth teams.

Will Inter Milan be part of FIFA 23?

Despite what has been stated above, Konami will now also hold the naming rights to the home sports centre of Inter Women and the Youth Sector, which has always been the flagship of the Nerazzurri club, which means they will likely not feature in FIFA 23.

However, coming to an important part of the agreement the final element of the collaboration, Konami will work with the Inter on national and international eSports projects, which will be unveiled as the season progresses.

Konami and Inter Esports have already been working together on national and international eSports projects for several years.


The announcement also stated that the agreement marks the return of the collaboration between two global brands that are leaders in their respective sectors and place innovation, dialogue with new generations, and an international vision as fundamental pillars of their growth strategy, the press release stated.

With that being said, Inter Milan will be absent from that year's EA Sports FC, according to the announcement.

EA will also have to come up with a name for the club, which has just signed Chelsea flop Romelu Lukaku on loan from Chelsea.

This happened the same to fellow Italian club Juventus as EA was forced to rename the club Piemonte Calcio in FIFA games. However, the players maintained their authenticity.

Meanwhile, Konami has secured a victory for eFootball with securing Inter Milan, EA still maintains a strong grip on all of the major football licenses, including the illustrious Premier League license.

Inter Milan will be probably included in eFootball starting with update 2.0.0 meaning that the game will receive authentic kits and a recreation of the iconic San Siro stadium.
